Please advice if I am applicable for CBAP

Hi All,
I have joined HSBC bank india as a "software engineer" but my role is of a BA since 3 years 4 months. To be more precise my designation at the time of joining was "Software engineer" but role was of a BA.
I was located in UK for 11 months then was in Vancouver for 6 months. Recently 4 months back I got a promotion as "Consultant" this is the designation generally for a BA here at Bank.
I have following questions:
1)Do you think I qualify to apply for CBAP certification ?
2) Do I have to take a approval from IIBA before I apply for CBAP?
3) For the CBAP certification i need to have a 20 hrs of compulsary class room. What is maximum gap of time duration between certification and class ? I mean if I take up the class by this month dec 2008, before wat time I have to appear for the certification ?
